After my greatest, most challenging journey, it seems I just dropped off the face of the earth.  In a sense, not literally, I did just that.  My life changed, God took control where I had been holding back a part of myself, as most of us do, because we feel without control who are we?

I started to allow God to show me what would be my new path, my life restored, I totally belong to God, so I have been in training to be God’s minister of healing, and now, I want to share the God I know with “he who has ears to hear”, those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, healing, deliverance, I want to connect with you, and share what God has given me.

I have come to understand that everyone of us has a need for healing, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, there is healing for everything that touches our lives, we just have to seek it.

This is my calling, this is why God spared me when I was ready to go home with Him, He spoke life into my body, and I am determined to do what He has sent me to do, if you are seeking, let’s work together to find what is waiting for you.

I remember what it was like to be seeking, to have questions and to not find, it is a hunger that cannot be satisfied, until you get that water from the well that does not run dry, you probably will never be satisfied, as I was, and it is so frustrating, defeating, and the most unpeaceful way to live.  Let us draw from the well together, God wants us to be healed and to live a more excellent way, in Him.

Pressing Forward: I have overcome 4 Aggressive Chemo Infusions.

I remember writing that each one is different.  This was #4, and as we move forward, there are things that transpire at one time, that do not follow the same timeline, so as I report the things that I endured through this infusion, I have to also disclose that, the week prior to the infusion, I went to Palliative  Care, after seeing my PCP, PA, who informed me that this would be where I could learn to endure some of the side effect that kept me from eating, that affected my constant diarrhea, that kept me dehydrated, where I needed to go in for IV fluids just to keep me from succumbing to the devastating, bedridden lifestyle of which I was growing accustomed. God Inspired, Moved, and Centered My Life

I have been away from blogging since last Tuesday’s Emergency Room visit.  I was very dehydrated, so I got IV infused and blood work that showed that I have(still have) pneumonia, UTI, and need to work on eating and drinking.  All these are so easy to say, but when the chemo takes effect, so hard to implement.  The IV gave me a new boost of energy that has lasted till now, and I have felt strong for the past week.  I praise God for that.  Continue reading “God Inspired, Moved, and Centered My Life”

First Day of Chemo Infusion Class

I want to thank my inspirational, faithful friend and choir member, Denny for volunteering to get me to my first infusion, today.  He is such an awesome minister of God.  One great and wonderful thing about Denny, is because of his prior military life, he is Always on time(that means early to the normal non military)  that is something we have in common.  Praise God for his patience too, because I was told I would be there for 1.5 hours, but that was just the time for one of the 4 treatments and the additional two preps that I had to be given.  Treatments go slowly on the first day with wait times in between to check for adverse reactions.  The two preps are steroids and Benadryl.

Phase Two, A New Start

Friday was so much like when I started school as a young girl.  I woke up anxious, and excited, and nervous about my day.  Whenever I begin a new phase in life, I get that way, but now, minus the upset stomach and vomiting from my earlier years of “new beginnings”.  I couldn’t wait to get on with the day.  Knowing that I had mixed feelings that were weighing on me, not all of them positive, or happy.  I was filled with tears, and some of them escaped my iron exterior, and then a wonderful thing happened, quite unexpected., as Alex and I arrived for the ECHO, *(echocardiogram), everything went very quickly, and we proceeded to the next appointment in Radiology.  We were really early.  The check in time was 11:30am, and we were there by 9:40am.  We sat there for around 10 minutes, and my Alex, just made the time fly by with his humorous banter, and his wonderful calming conversation, he made me laugh, and I looked around, some of the other people were laughing as well.  Then my name was called, and Alex had the mood so light and the atmosphere, so calming, it seemed that everyone was sending me good wishes as I went back for my prep.  I was back in my area, for 5 hours, before the surgical procedure at 2:20pm, but the whole day was peaceful, and there was no stress, or frustration, within me.  I felt like time just flowed, as I read my word, worked my word search puzzle and even took a nap.  God had taken all my first day jitters away.

Thanks for joining me!

The Journey Begins

I am in the process of setting up my blog. Rather than halt my traffic, I think we could make use of the time testing our connection. Everyday, I will try to post something, and your task, should you decide to accept it, is to follow with at least one positive thought. Two or more sentences, because every thought is more than one word, and every one of us has at least one positive thing that can be said, so share it before the negative has a chance to ruin what blessing God is pouring into your spirit.
Let’s try it. Follow me on http:\\
